Tim Liescheidt, PE

Tim Liescheidt is an accomplished structural engineer and business leader with more than two decades of experience in innovative construction systems and operational management. A graduate of the University of Missouri–Rolla (now Missouri S&T), he has built a career at the intersection of engineering precision and entrepreneurial growth. Based in Charlotte, NC, Tim serves as Managing Member of Advant Steel LLC, leading advancements in cold-formed steel truss and framing solutions. Known for his technical expertise, integrity, and collaborative leadership style, he is committed to improving building performance and driving sustainable innovation across the construction industry.

Tim has been married to Chrissy Liescheidt for 9 years. He has a son, Isaac, age 24, a daughter, Abigail, age 22, a step-daughter, Arlynn, age 12, and a foster daughter, Ari, age 2.5, whom they have been blessed to have since her birth. Tim has lived in Charlotte for 23 years and appreciates the proximity to the mountains, the small-town feel without being too far from the city, and the friendly and inviting nature of the people compared to his native St. Louis. He values the welcoming community and the balance Charlotte offers between urban and rural experiences.
